It honestly took me a long time to find something dainty. I've learned this week that I tend to take photos of strong, resilient subjects.
There aren't many dainty, fragile items in my life.
From the decorations in my home, to the jewelry I (sometimes) wear, down to the type of flower I am drawn to (daisy, lilac, sunflowers) almost everything seems to be strong.
There's not much room for things of a delicate nature around here.

Looks like we had the same idea with this one...lol. I love this shot though. The colors created by the reflection of the sunbeam and all...breath taking.
that's a gorgeous shot.
Lovely shot. You know I actually took three very different pictures for this one (with no flowers) then this weekend I went to a friend's house and her mother in law's butterfly bushes were just covered with activity and I had to rethink things. :)
LOL! I was going to take a pic of flowers too! When hubs gave me some pink roses on our anniversary, it took me less than five minutes to realize: (oh! tomorrow's prompt is Dainty!) Unfortunately, since hubs secretly arranged for us to leave the kids at his mom's and go out to eat and then go home and leave them there for the night, we didn't go back to her house and they got left there. She forgot to bring them back with the kids. =\
(She's supposed to bring them to me tomorrow!)
I love the lighting here. So beautiful!
Hey! Look! I got one up -- and it's not a flower. ;)
