Genesis 22:1: After all these things God tested Abraham.After God told Abraham to leave his home. After God promised a son. After Sarah decided to take things into her own hands and send Hagar to Abraham. After Ishmael was born. After Abraham and Sarah conceived and gave birth to the son of the promise, Isaac.
After all these things God tested Abraham.
And for some reason, when I'm tested, it comes as a surprise?
