Lookie What I Won!

**This giveaway is still open for entries. I'll decide sometime after the 15th when it will close.**

Rhonda at Mimi's Toes sent me these gorgeous gardening gloves. I won them from her very first blog giveaway! (I stole this picture from her because I'm too tired to take my own right now.) I'm sure she won't mind!

Thank you my kindred Mimi!

And guess what else she sent? A second pair!! That's right! So guess who gets a chance to win those?

YOU.

Because I love you.

And because Rhonda and I have totally bonded over these gloves and what they symbolize in my life. If you don't know, you can read about my BFF Jill and her lost battle with breast cancer. She's haunting me, though. She said she would and she's been around more the past few weeks than I can even count. (Right Ro?)

So here's to you Jill, even if you hate the pink ribbon. I kinda hate it too, but it reminds me of things I shouldn't forget. (Like you'd let me forget you, ha!)

So leave a comment, share your breast cancer story, or just say Hi! and next week this time, I'll pick a winner!

I can't possibly say enough about my grandmother who is a breast cancer survivor 3 times over - so I won't even try. So, I'm saying "hi."

I am so glad you won Michelle! What can I say about how we met and the connection that was created thru a simple pair of special pink gloves. God works in mysterious ways. It is so special that you are having a give away. I am not entering to win, of course but I hope these gloves bless someone as much as they have blessed me. I planted the lilac tree in Jill's honor that you gave me. I have her name on a special little birdhouse as a marker until I can have a special rock with her name put on. I will have to take a picture to share with you. When I water the tree, I say hi to Jill. I never knew her but I feel her all around.

A mother from our boy's playgroup has been through chemo this year and just had surgery as well. I'll be participating in a cancer relay fundraiser to support her and others who fight against this particular battle.

Rhonda is so wonderful!
My life has been touched by breast cancer in many ways. One of my favorite co-workers has been battling it for years, yet still manages to come to work every day--despite the chemo!

I lost both of my grandmothers to breast cancer, so I worry about my own mother, myself and my daughter. If it is not too late, please enter me in the drawing as well.

no breast cancer stories, but several cancer stories are in my family and some of my friends lives.

My mom is a surviver(50-60 year) of bone cancer (lost her leg, but still lives)

My sister in law Sue started with skin cancer and it went inside and to the spine. She didn't make it, died within a year of getting cancer.

My good friend Terri, is almost through battling cancer, we think she's won the battle but still has to get checked.
