Tackle It Tuesday--New Entryway

We've been in this house almost 5 years and I feel like I've yet to get rid of the previous owners and their totally bad taste. LOL

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

This week:

  • Organized laundry room
  • Did all the laundry
  • But my Christmas tree is still up
Edited to add:
Momma T asked if I really did all this in one day. Yes. I didn't set out to, but Jen came over and (as she said in the comments) I forgot add that she helped me carry the table outside, around the house, in the calf deep snow, to the back of the house. We then took the couch outside, around the house, in the calf deep snow, to the front of the house. All because the one door between the kitchen and the rest of the house isn't large enough.

Then Chuck and Molly got out and ran like Forrest Gump to the neighbor's house, so I took the car and lied. Told them we were going "bye-bye" and I only brought them home.

Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah, there are still two walls to paint. Guess I'll do that sometime this week.

I like the color of the walls and things look much nicer now! Did you really get that all done in one day? (Looking at the dates on the photos... WOW) I'm really impressed!

Yeah well, painting is a lot more fun than taking down the Christmas tree :)

You forgot to mention hauling the furniture through the snow!

Good job, specially in calf deep snow. I want to hybernate when its the cold. Thanks for the inspiration. My TT is the no shelves linen closet.

You should just decorate the Christmas tree for the different holidays, then you won't have to worry about taking ti down!

Sounds like a great project. You will love it when it is done.

Um, wow. Almost inspires me to finish all those jobs I told myself I'd do.
Almost.
