Clocks

Speaking in general terms, I've had a tendency in life to find clocks ugly. Unless they're exquisite (and that normally means expensive) I'd rather not have one.

Sure, there's the clock on the microwave and the one on the stove, I don't really have a choice about those. The one at the bottom of my computer is decent, I can deal with that. And the one on my cell phone, that ones useful. But the one in my dining room? Phil, bless his heart, love it. It's a clock made out of a slice of wood.

I have one in my living room too. It comes from my days in direct sales. This one came in a sample kit. It's not totally bad.

If I had to choose, though, I'd pick one like this.

Unless I win the lottery and can buy one of these Howard Miller grandfather clocks The Oasis Fountain clock to be specific. Because this would be my dream come true--the mixing of a grandfather clock chime and running water...oh surely this must be heaven? I had no clue such a thing existed, but now that I do, it's on my list of things I'd like to have in that glorious someday.

Look around here, post your favorite clock in the comments section.

I love clocks! I can't even pick a favorite. I do prefer antique ones, though.
But the weird thing is, I hate time. I would love to never know what time it is, if I could get away with it!
