I've been talking with Chaim about Star Wars.
Bottom line: He thinks age matters when people favor the Original Trilogy over the Prequel Trilogy. I say gender matter. So...

Not sure how this will help anyone...but I do like to be a good soldier and give it the old college try.
1. 1965
2. Male
3. I dislike all the Star Wars movies with equal enthusiasm. I stop short of saying 'hate' cuz I don't really remember which ones I've seen or not. And that wouldn't be fair of me...or nice.
4. Sci-Fi? I don't like them Sam-I-Am
5. I have no idea.
6. Um, ditto?
I'm sure all who read this came away enlightened. You can thank me later!
1. 1976
2. Girl
3 & 4. I seriously like them both, but probably for different reasons...I remember going to see Episode V, or whichever one was first, at the theater when I was, like, 5 or something. I remember watching it on TV every year around Christmas until they released it on video, which kind of blew the nostalgia for me.
I like the second round because they are well-made movies, with great characters that finish the story out. I like the story of Anakin and Princess Padme; I like the complications of the plot.
5 & 6. That being said, I have to say episode VI, I think, the one with the ewoks is my favorite. Because it has ewoks. And the nostalic deal I suppose. And I always did like Harrison Ford...
I have to think of someone to tag now...
1. 1972
2. Female
3. I prefer the original trilogy
4. The prequel was fine until you get to the last episode in which they turn princess Padme into some weak sniveling woman that cannot survive without her "true love" what a bunch of crap. She was having twins for goodness sake if that isn't enough reason to go on with life I dont know what is. I detest movies that portray women as weak and needy and that is exactly what they did with her character in the end. I would have been much happier if she had died due to childbirth instead of just giving up.
5. Favorite episode.. ohhhh wow, thats a hard one...I'll have to say Retun of the Jedi..
6. Luke.. I am your father.. enough said
1. A lady doesn't tell her age until she hits 90--then she tells everyone. I'm not 90 yet but I did go with a date to the original in 1977 so I'm old enough.
2. Female
3. Original
4. Harrison Ford was so pretty back then.
5. #4 Star Wars
6. it was the first time to see a wookie--that big cuddly thing--and it broke stereotypes. Carrie Fisher played the princess with strength and attitude. Loved it.
1. 1967
2. Female
3. Toss up, I liked them both! But if I really had to choose, I guess it would be the Original.
4. Because I didn't like the whiny Anakin they picked. He bugged me a lot.
5. Return of the Jedi
6. Because Darth Vader sacrificed himself to save his son.
