"To be a book-collector is to combine the worst characteristics of a dope fiend with those of a miser." --Robertson Davies, "The Table Talk of Samuel Marchbanks"

Oh ain't that the truth?!

It's true, all right.

Michelle! I just read your response to Brandilyn's question over at Forensics and Faith ... what an imagination you have, girl! If I were an acquisitions editor, I'd be all over that.

Just thought I'd pop over and say hi. :)

LOVE the quote. I may just have to steal it.

I don't like that quote at all. I like my books. I hoard my books. I'll lend them, but give them away. Or worse, gasp, sell them? Hush, now, it's okay, my dear Pride and Prejudice. I would never do that.
The books are a part of me. So hoard them I will!

Hey! Slow down there missy! Me and my books have a special relationship--nothing addictive or miserly. We just choose to keep our own company, thank you very much. So there.

Abundant blessings,
