Good coffee at home?

I wonder if it would be worth it to have this at home? Here's part of the description from their website:
Enjoy a perfect cup of coffee, espresso, latté, cappuccino, créma, hot chocolate or tea at the touch of a button. No fuss, no mess and no waiting in line. The Tassimo System uses premeasured T-DISCS filled with delicious, high-quality coffee, tea, chocolate syrup and real milk to create coffee house style drinks instantly, in the comfort of your home.

The Tassimo Hot Beverage Machine boasts that you can enjoy a perfect cup, but I'm wondering if it will taste as fresh as beans that are just ground? Here's what they say:
T-Discs contain precisely premeasured amounts of Gevalia and European brands coffees and espressos, real milk for cappuccinos and lattes, Twinings Earl Grey Tea, and Suchard Hot Chocolate.

They say you can find these T-discs at your local grocery and prices of T-discs vary from $2.49 -$9.99 per package. I suppose I would like to try it out before giving up my Starbucks (which is now empty beside me.) :)

Does anyone have one? Does the coffee taste instant or does it taste like freshly ground beans?
