I was thinking...

There are a lot of blog "carnivals" and "festivals." I've participated in a few. I wonder if I could start one?

I've had a couple ideas:

Writing Propmt: The host could post a picture or a phrase as a prompt and all members would write a short story (say, 500 words or less?)

Epiphany of the week/month: I have a section over there to the right "Blessed Moments Of Epiphany" Those are all pretty common life events that have been used by God to teach me pretty big spiritual lessons. Each member could post their lesson of the week or lesson of the month (depending on the frequency we decide.)

Spiritual Challenges: The host would post a particular spiritual challenge and each member would address the issue with suggestions, ideas, or stories of how they overcame the problem.

Let me know what you think. Would you be interesting in participating?

I think it's a spectacular idea and would beg participation. I'm especially drooling over the "Writing Prompt."

My lower lip is stuck out in a pout. I was really excited about the prompt. One of my favorite assignments in a creative writing class was to find the car that models you. Mine was a car with dings and seats not meant for passengers but for books and CDs. Okay, so it's the only assignment I remember, but the fact that I remembered it should say something.

I like the Spiritual Challenge one, but they all sounds good. I might be talked into participating. Just twist my arm a bit more, k? ;-)

I think the writing prompts idea is stellar. Well, the other ones are excellent too, I just see myself being able to keep up with the writing prompts theme the best.

Such a cool concept- like a creative writing class via blogs. How regular are you thinking of making it?

We can't have Heather pouting, can we? No boo boo lip for her :).

I'm all for it unless I'd be disqualified from participating...seems like I'm excluded from the Carnival of Beauty b/c of a nasty little link on my blog (she says with a boo boo lip). Any...all of your suggestions work for me, but sometimes I'm ephipheless.

I'm here b/c Heather is one of my favorite bloggers (& commentors).
